Our Canadian partner has now received 271.914 Canadian dollars from the federal agency Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada.

For a country of this size the travel costs for participants to be gathered in one place and at the same time to represent the whole country, are huge.

This funding, however, makes it possible to gather the 100 citizens participating in WWViews on September 26 in one place, and also to represent people living in northern communities at the meeting, who are already feeling the effects of global warming.
